  We cant control our urges

  when i was about 15 i was made to go on the service with a super dub pioneer sister (you know the type, ugly with no dress sense and a wimp of a husband) and as it was the school holidays it was an all dayer (suit and tie in blazing hot sunshine) and she wanted to go back to her place for lunch, she made me sit in the garden while she ate inside as we could'nt be alone together because we might commit immorality (i would have rather cut it off).

  has anyone else come across such stupid thinking within the borg.. p.s.

  on the plus i side i got sunstroke in the afternoon, passed out cold.

  Dating 85 year old brother and 83 year old sister had to be chaperoned to have ice cream together! You know how those old organs just can't wait to merge while having vanilla cones in support hose! Damn you Satan! and damn the flesh regardless of how saggy.

  If a Witness in 1974, how did "Earthquake" in "Sensaround" affect you?

  for those who dont know, the movie "earthquake" was a huge film with big stars in 1974. it was mass destruction of watchtower armageddon proportions all presented in "sensaround".

  the soundtrack was augmented by a low tone that affected a person's inner ear making it seem the seat was moving beneath them.

  it was awesome.

  For those who dont know, the movie "Earthquake" was a huge film with big stars in 1974. It was mass destruction of Watchtower Armageddon proportions all presented in "Sensaround". The soundtrack was augmented by a low tone that affected a person's inner ear making it seem the seat was moving beneath them. It was awesome. I was a kid and thought the theater was going to fall in on us. It only happened when the rumble came for the earthquake scenes. It looked a lot like the Armageddon scenes in the literature. Were you around then and did you see it? How did you respond. It was somewhat cheesy but if you were a young impressionable witness it was a really impressive preview of the big A. Let us know. Any other films make you think of the end?

  How exactly did Paul keep in touch with his network of churches across the empire...

  i always wondered how a man with a travelling companion of two like timothy managed to knnow or hear about all his churches.

  how exactly does the troubles of corinth manage to find paul when hes over in judea or maybe somewhere in what we call turkey ?

  If Zimmerman is not guilty of 2nd degree murder it is because it was self defense. Self defense is not a crime. It is not manslaughter. So if they do not find him guilty of 2nd degree murder he must be found without guilt in all possibilities. It cant be Self Defense towards one charge and not the other. Makes no sense. I think he is not guilty by virtue of surviving the clashing of two idiots in the rain.

  after watching the first 2 epsoides and looking foward to the rest i was thinking that a dome needs to be put over every kingdom hall on sunday morrning.

  that way we could be rid of a large chunk of them and those who missed the meeting could see that its a false church.

  wishful thinking i know but i can't help it..

  Simon, thank goodness I'm not the only one to see the similarities between the dome series and the Simpson's Movie. So far the Simpson's movie is more engaging. Cows cleaved in half was fun though.

  yet another secretly recorded judicial committee hearing...the hero of this story is rachel... this brave and funny kiwi lady stands up to the local elders and goes through this scary situation with grace and logic and so much class!.

  bravo to her husband who comes along to support her and her goal is to awaken and perhaps reach the hearts of these men that are poised to spiritually execute her.

  What evidence is there for the miracles of the Bible OUTSIDE of the Bible?

  ok. this is something i've wondered about.. people of certain religions tend to use their own holy book as evidence for things in itself.

  this seems very circular to me.

  using the book to prove the book in my view is pointless.. i am not aware of any of the 'miracles' of the bible or the quran as having any substantial evidence outside of themselves to give credibility to the books themselves.. has anyone come across such evidence?.
